2014 Chardonnay "Top Cream"

The presence of diatomaceous sandy loam from the heart of the Sta. Rita Hills in this year's Top Cream is just uncanny. My recommendation is to be patient and give the wine at least another 6 months in the bottle so that its tapioca pudding and mineral nose can fully meld with its succulent, creamy flavor. The only downside is that if you love it then, it will probably be gone. Answer, build some into a case. It's a good one!
