"Hello Lisa & Bryan — What a wonderful retreat & marvelous home to celebrate our 4th child's graduation from Westmont College! With fires raging all around, we remained smoke free here at Valdemosa, under blue skies, with a moon that was full with red-orange hues. Everyone enjoyed the gardens; from 2 year old Shane playing in the sandbox & swings to my daughter's stroll through the rose-garden, to a simple game of bacci ball on the grass & finally a sip of Babcock wine on the patio in the late afternoon. The home was spacious for all, filled with eclectic pieces of furniture & an eye for classic decor. As a Westmont alum myself, I'm a great lover of gardens, hedges & all things Mediterranean that Valdemosa so well embodies. Thank you so much."

"We love this house! The VRBO web site doesn't do this wonderful house justice - which is fine with us as it is our secret retreat now in Montecito. We have been doing our annual "Day After Christmas Day Family Bocce Ball Tournament" for forty plus years, and this was the best ever course layout and accommodations."

VILLA FLORA

Stunning Oasis Villa Great for Groups
Close to Santa Barbara lies this private villa oasis that makes you feel like you are living the dream. Our group of 8 was very comfortable in the 4 bedroom home, with generous living space and charming interior decor everywhere you look. The outdoor space takes it to the next level, with beautiful landscaping and gardens all over the property, not to mention the multiple fireplaces for relaxing with company. We didn't want to leave, and were entranced with the private slice of paradise. Looking forward to the next visit.

I rented this property for a family weekend getaway. I wanted to make sure we rented a property with enough space to spread out and relax and this house was that and more. The vast garden space seems more like a relaxing park than a backyard. we enjoyed the succulent gardens, bocce ball court and not one, not two, but three completely separate outdoor fireplaces each with their own dedicated sitting areas. The house is filled with an eclectic mix of cool art and vintage finds mixed in a way that makes the house feel cozy and warm. In a nutshell, wonderful inside and out, hope to make it back!

This property looks great in the pictures, but really dazzles when you see it in person! The house itself is very unique and the property offers beautiful landscaping and outdoor living space. We easily slept 4 couples in the four bedrooms available with plenty of space for gathering in the rest of the house. The location is great - quiet street in Montecito within close proximity to stores and restaurants and the beach. Easy access to the freeway as well. The host was very easy to work with and took great care of us. We are already planning return visits for other special occasions.

Amazing property with so much to offer
This property is amazing! The gardens and outside are beyond gorgeous. The pool is huge and amazing. There are so many fireplaces and little sitting areas outside to enjoy. We had grand plans of leaving the property but needed up staying in the entire time! The inside is like a museum with so many beautiful antiques. We were very comfortable and found something new to enjoy every day in the house. The food delivery options are great too. We used DoorDash to have all our meals delivered. Book this property, you won’t regret it!
